SNAP some SUGAR on your SWEETIE!!!

I have always had a passion for all things creative.  When I was a young girl I danced and painted.  As an adult I decided to have a career in corporate event planning so that I could continue to explore creative outlets.  In my spare time I help family and friends host parties and baby showers. I obsessed over the details to ensure everything was absolutely perfect.  When I wanted to do something extra special, I would made diaper cakes or other appropriate centerpieces, favors, or decorations for events.  How, you may wonder, did I ever get into designing hair bows?  Well, I fell in love, with my niece - Natasha - who inspires every design and moment I spend making bows.

Natasha has very fine, wavy red hair that grew super slow! It wasn't until she was over a year old that she had enough hair to pull back, so the thought of hair bows never entered my mind. Natasha's mom, Nyree', purchased a few bows for Natasha's hair to keep her pesky bangs from falling into her eyes, but due to an underwhelming selection and mediocre quality at best, she also purchased ribbon in an attempt to make her own bows. I happened to be over when Nyree' was playing around with ribbon and (being a creative junkie), I too decided to give it a shot. Initially, our creations were a complete mess of lumpy ribbon and stringy hot glue - not even suitable for outdoor play! It was a million times harder than I had ever imagined, but that only further sparked my desire and determination to learn how to create beautiful bows.

Although my initial bows were unsuccessful, I was immediately hooked! I practiced over and over until I perfected and expanded my hair bow making skills. My imagination ran wild with the variety of colors and texture combinations. I started producing loads of bows for Natasha. Sometimes I would wake up in the middle of the night to sneak downstairs and churn out hairbows - it became a full fledged addiction! I was so excited about my creations that I would show family and friends who loved them and wanted to buy them from me for their own sweeties!

Now I am making hair bows for all sweet little girls, so they look and feel special, just as I intended for Natasha - MY SWEETIE!
